Yes that’s right. I drop a small article on each blog platform with a backlink either to my main site or with a deep link to an article page.

Yes, they’re PR0 links, but they’re within relevant content with appropriate keyword-rich link text.

Unfortunately some of the links are dead, so I’ll prune the list in a few days.

It’s a list of ‘blogging platforms’, not ‘blogs’. I think the idea is that you can set up a free blog at these sites.

The screenshot of the Wordpress site with the Rolex watch is pretty much exactly what my conduit site looks like. I’m just reviewing a different type of product.

I think the key is to do the reviews in a reporter style. That way the visitor makes up their own mind.

On my blog, I simply blog about my niche, which is NOT sales relatd in any way. I do, however, have banner ads on each page of my blog for visitors to click on and buy products.

Is this the kind of sales you’re talking about? Or are you actually blogging about the products you’re selling?

OK I recognize Knol because I wrote a Knol not too long ago, but can you please clarify the purpose of the list. Is it basically to write an article and then point a link back refrencing your main blog? Thanks.

Many people use the RSS directories to “fill” their feed reader, yes. Others use them to find feeds to drop into their site.

Either of these things is good, IMO. Readers=visitors. Site content=backlinks.
