Another “Do-follow” Blog and Forum Search
For those who routinely do blog commenting or forum posting for backlinks (if you don’t, you should start), you can never have too many blogs and forums to post to.
Although I think the negatives associated with nofollow are blown way out of proportion, I found the following search today and thought I would pass it along.
This is a custom Google search specifically looking for blogs and forums who do not use the nofollow attribute.
Remember to be a good net citizen and only post relevant comments or forum posts. No spamming, please!

I have my link and comments all over the web, but yet when I check my backlinks from the Pagerank toolbar I only see 7.
Any idea why?
What’s the difference between a backlink and a regular link?

I tried a search to test it but didn’t really come up with any promising results, just a couple forum posts. I’ll probably save the link and come back when I have something specific I’m looking for, maybe it will work better in that instance. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for that! 4811 sites looks promising. But it looks like it might be pages, not sites. Still, it bears investigation. Thanks!

@Alex,
Google keeps secrets. They only tell you about a few of the backlinks they see. Yahoo is more open about the links they know about. If you check there, you’ll usually see a more complete picture.
It’s a reasonably safe bet that if Yahoo sees a backlink, Google knows about it or will very shortly.

Greetings, thank you for the link post, nice blog, im really glad the do-follow movement has great people like you contributing, speaking of contributing, i see way too many simple lines like “thanks” “good post’ simple spam techniques to save them time and get a link, but i guess they dont know that do follow blogs are strictly moderated, so fellow bloggers, read the information and make your contribution, thats mine, and im happy to leave a mark here. -charles-

That is very true. being a good member to a forum can give you a good karma. I am really trying my best to be earnest in my posts, by answering what I know only. Thus, in blog comments, reading the whole blog is very important and giving a valuable comment as well.

Thank you, you answered the question I have been searching for which was whether or not to place keywords when blog commenting.
